wrapped                                warmth
                in                sun
                      sweet
                                   sun 
                                             warmth



                                                           winds
kissed                                        the 
              and                     by
                        caressed 
                                         by  
                                                 the 
                                                           winds 
 

                                                                                      

                                                   us
earth                         beneath
                shakes 
                                 beneath 
                                                   us





Here it is again -- Tradition Style


                              wrapped in sweet sun warmth
                            kissed and caressed by the winds 
                                   earth shakes beneath us

Cona Adams December 4, 2014 at 3:01 PM David, your first rendition is called a shaped form, or a concrete poem, where the words are arranged to denote or in the shape of the subject of your poem. Your placement of the words in your first example suggests the wrapping in warmth, and the movement of the wind. Good job!
