David, your first rendition is called a shaped form, or a concrete poem, where the words are arranged to denote or in the shape of the subject of your poem. Your placement of the words in your first example suggests the wrapping in warmth, and the movement of the wind. Good job!

David, I really like your creative formatting here. When I first looked at it, it kind of reminded me of "English Sentencing Diagramming" from many years removed for me.
