Earth Is Only Temporary

We are all just passing through
None of us last here for long
Because heaven is our home
Our citizenship is in heaven
And it is from there
That we are expecting to see our Savior
He labored to bring us home.

Truly He said to us
Until heaven and earth pass away
“Not the smallest letter
Or stroke of My word
Shall pass away
From the Law until
All is accomplished that I said.”

Everything on earth shall perish
And only the Lord word will remain
Earth is our school to learn
Of life a temporary assignment
Briefly my time is here
Because our Savior is near
No fear is here
In front or rear.

Remember your days are numbered
And that life is fleeing away
For goodness sakes find your place
While you are here
Earth is only temporary
For you and I to stay
“For my God shall supply
All our needs
According to His richest in heaven
Humble yourselves therefore
Under the hand of God
That He may exalt you in due time.”

Yes, earth is temporary and so are all our trials and tribulations. When our time on earth is through, we have an indescribable home awaiting us with Jesus! Great poem, Julius, filled with faith and truth! Blessings, Kim M
