Earth Angel
He came into her life
Like a crazy whirlwind
Capturing her heart
Leaving her breathless
He always stood by her side
Fighting anyone who dared hurt her
He gave her courage from within
Places she couldn't imagine
She was sure he was an angel
Sent from God himself above
She'd never know protection
Until he gave his gentle love
The one thing he always taught her
Is never let someone knock you down
You're way to precious to others
To be left broken on the ground
Than one day it happened
God called him up above
It was in that moment she knew
He was the angel she always knew he was
Her heart remains in mourning
But she still continues to fight
Because she met this earth angel
He still protects her in his light
