The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Earth

I am to the Earth as the Earth is to me
A mystery to man unlocked by a key
We meet late at night beneath the moon
Drunkard nude meanderings enough to make lovers swoon
For the Earth has the key to my chastity belt
Years of longing and teasing have made him quite svelte
I crawl to his whim I answer his cry
The Earth is my master no need to ask why.

What a masterpiece on Mother Earth! A 7. Thanks for sharing Kelli, I enjoyed this very much. At one time you take me to rhyme and then to lyrical too. Bravo. Thanks for your comment on my poem "The Seven Deadly". Didn't know how that would work out. For some reason there is no "Reply" button at my end. Best wishes, R P.

A fascinating piece Kelli chock full of metaphor. I love the line, '...Earth has the key to my chastity belt!' Well done!! Best wishes, Keith
