Earth

Earth, a planet under siege, Longing to be freed. She was once free as the wind. That is, until in came sin. Earth is not realing and deteriating Merely because of man's abuse. And she's not crying from overuse; But rather, she longs to be redeemed; To be restored, revived and renewed. Indeed, her time for such is overdue. Environmental reveiws will not restore. Decellerating commerce will not cleanse The earth of its polution and toxins Any more that the blowing winds. Earth patiently waits to be made new. But the restoration must first come From its many waywardly inhabitants. Like mortals, earth longs for change. Until then, we wait with prayer, patience, And live our best with love and purity.
