Earnest Confession

Here am I as a black sheep sighing anxiously Murmuring against unfairness angrily Questioning my situation regretfully… Lord, I confess* my sins earnestly; Please lift my heart to Your presence tenderly. Here am I, with black sheep's grief, struggling against frustration Succumbing to iniquities’ oppression Leaning toward welcoming desperation… Lord, I plead for Your reaching-out restoration; Please revive my spirit midst Your mighty sanctification.
Psalm 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. June 28, 2019
