An early start was his intent,
To accomplish this goal he must not relent.
A problem, however, arose in the mix,
Too many late hours he had earlier spent.
He speedily discovered to his dismay
That he could not stay up late and play.
Early to bed and early to rise
Would result in accomplishment of his intended way!
