Early Morning Musings

Another morning means another chance
Don't waste it
Last time I allowed the sun to soak into my skin
Even my heart encased it

Laughter can make a bitter pill easier to swallow
Life can be brutal without it
When I make someone smile
I inwardly smile even more about it

Sons and daughters birth jeweled hopes
The crystal ball is in their hands
I think my orange tabby's love is unconditional
As long as I meet her demands

Love is difficult to define but everyone needs it
It's the most special thing that ever was
And the reason why God loves me 
is just because...
