Early Morning Awakens

I sit in tranquility adorned about like a warm cape Drink in the serenity until my heart is completely full In nature’s beauty I feel the lush living landscape In such a rich world I can never resist it’s outside pull A dozy dawn arrives generous with trilling bird sound As the sun rises above to warm all the little chilly spaces And mist tangles mountains to keep them earthbound Mellow tangerine glow wisps around clouds pink faces The trees plump with raindrops, glisten with diamond stars Against the azure blue of morn my sleepy eyes waken From high sits my window to see the view like a bazaar Full of days first beginnings to be sipped not forsaken written 9-21-2019 San Pedro, Guatemala copy right protected
