Early Morn When Flag Would Warn

Inspired by Kim Merryman Poem
and my comment to it.

Remember when it was one early morn,
And a red flag there which would warn,
Handle with care;
Danger there;
Rough waves on surface still do adorn.

Ledge fell in above ocean and some people
who were local residents had ben killed.
Happened somewhere near Encinitas.
