Early English-Quaternion

Why oh why did our sweet love die:
Did another fancy come nigh:
                to take my part?

Sad is a heart so full of care,
the 'morrow's what will be
on the sleeve, all life does wear
                 For all to see

So my dear,true heart's desire
is a love,as will not die:
with a heart, that burns as fire
with love's passion,ever nigh....

If..,she and I are to be we
True love for us may not be-
I see now..,'til I love her...

..as she loves me
