Eap-Seattle

The rain continues to plummet and fall
And the gray of the day looks like it will never go away.
I long for the boisterous blue of a hot summer’s day.
It seems our shy sun has wandered and meandered astray
From today’s and tomorrow’s forecast much to my dismay.

It's been raining almost every day lately. In addition to the melting, we're going to be in for some area flooding. Our home is in a safe area for which I am grateful. Nice use of rhyme and imagery in this poem. Thank you for sharing it with us and for your kind comment. Have a good day! Karen
