Eagles Call

And right before the water
Crushes stone below my feet,
It gathers in such quota
That the fall begins to speak....
Telling me its secrets
So I won't believe the lies,
Just beyond my reach and
Hidden only from my eyes...
In such chaotic rhythm
That it's soothing to my soul,
As I stand here in remission,
In a mist I want to hold...
That's slipping thru my fingers
As it gathers in the air,
Drifting as it lingers,
In the falls to disappear...
But as I turn myself away
I hear an eagles call,
Gathering it's breath to say
The truth within it all...
