Each Had Their Lovey
They each had their lovey
Instead of each other
It used to be just the two of them
But they reverted back to their childhood
Before they found each other
Before they realized they could heal
as a unit
As a united unit
As a united unit of themselves
So they stayed on their own side
of their balloon bed, being clowns
with their loveys,
both afraid to reach out
and be what they knew they could be
as they had been it before
Sad how misunderstandings
hurt them and kept them in two
separate rings now
Their dream ringmasters
tried to get them back together
but frankly, they had forgotten
their healing ways,
and they parted soon after.
