Hate
Just like
Real human beings
Who at night
Lay waste THEIR sorrows
And worries.
Laugh
Cry
Love
‘for fathers now bury
The corpses of their daughters’
Whilst mothers burn
Leaves of the iyonno lily
To ward off the ghosts of their
Once beloved.
Laugh
Crry
Love
Hate
For little we see in life
Lesser we know about life…
And not a thing
But dreams,
Hearsays
Of the afterlife.
