Dying For Peace

We are wishing, hoping, dreaming
Always wanting such a lot
Not believing, caring, trusting
Having faith in what we've got.

We live in constant conflict
Which never seems to cease
But still we go on fighting wars
Insisting it's for peace.

Anger, greed and prejudice
Are what we're taught from birth
Not how precious life is
But how much money is worth.
