Dying For Love

When I’m lost,
I search for you
When I’m scared,
I reach out to embrace you
But now I see that,
You no longer desire to provide your security
You have found other pleasures elsewhere
Me….you’ve deferred
My soul…you’ve rejected
My heart….you’ve abandoned
Now I maintain this void
This, hollowness
I enjoy nothing
You were my enjoyment
You were my everything
You….were me
No longer can I inhabit such disgrace
No more can I deal with the shame
No more tears do I have to cry
I’m wasting away
I’ve fallen….by the waste side
I no longer exist
The flesh….lives on
But the spirit-
Damnation corrupts my soul
And because love no longer loves me
I have died….of a broken heart
