Dying Embers of Love

Wildfires burning in my heart of hearts Crackling in the wee dawn hours since You took your love and left me high and Dry never again to feel the lush greenery Of your embrace,to hear the sound of your Lilting voice telling me of your undying passion When the smoke clears from my soul and I find You're really gone,I will sweep the sorrow out and Put you in a gilded box with all the memories and I'll Throw away the key never again to let you darken my Doorway or cross my broken path no matter how you beg
