Dying Dreams

Dying Dreams

My dreams are locked away
Hidden in the darkest room
No windows or doors
Not even a single crack
No chance for them to escape
No chance to ever be granted
And no one cares
No one even thinks of my dreams
Not one person cares
How could I ever had expected more
My dreams are just left to die
Alone and without light
Without any hope
Just dreams that have died
Just like a million others I have had
And a million other I have forgotten

This on reflection reminds me of another despairing poem I read, less than a Year ago. This poem rips at the heart strings Oh Poet of Poets! How terrible to go through life with nobody who cares, lets pray there is someone who really cares and lets hope, as it is just a poem, a very sad beautiful poem. That there is for all dark poets, a life filled with dreams, and hope and love! No doubt "The Animal In the Cage" needs to be truly loved! X Lizzie Treetop
