Dying

You think she's strong inside
But you'd be terribly wrong
She's like a bird with a broken wing
Who's too hurt to sing her song

Her heart has slowed its beat
Her spirit can no longer fly
She holds bravely onto the pain
Until the only thing left is to die

Light slowly fades from her eyes
As she draws her last earthly breath
And the love she'd once given freely
Taken with her in sweet peaceful death

Honey don't hold on to pain.Yes it must be examined but not to your detriment. Become the unaffected observer realizing You are safe from all.You are a powerful woman ,you are made up of solid stock. You are born from the blood of Vikings.Able to traverse the blackest storms and keep your boat afloat.Arriving upon a new shore to make your place among all.USE YOUR POWER For You.I choose to puke it out when it tries to overwhelm .Sometimes in words, sometimes in song, but I don't go along to get along I fight for that fledgling Within.AV

I wrote when I become overwhelmed, even if it's gibberish, no one sees it but me. Love T.M.

This is how I felt about my mother when cancer struck her in the worst ways "She's like a bird with a broken wing Who's too hurt to sing her song"
