Dust and Me

I really think I can see the smallest speck in the world. Molecules mean nothing in that case. They don’t believe me anyway. I had just vacuumed the living room. All the dust went away. I saw it all go away. I believed it. When you throw away something- It really does go away. I threw away the vacuum bag on Tuesday. Dust gets stale in the house. They say some things are microscopic. So why doesn’t everyone have a microscope? And a lab to test everything. I could have dusted the fan. Sometimes, it’s impossible to reach up there. But my mom says I should find some way. Maybe everything will be ok. I carried the smallest speck in the world. For four years of college. A ladder. If I climbed up to dust off that fan. I could get dizzy and fall. And it would be all my fault.
