Dusk To Dawn

Oh what a beautiful day we have had. The sun is tired and must go to bed. The darkness falls much too fast for this warm summer’s eve. The creatures that have slept all through the day. Wait for the moon to come out and play. As soon as it gets high in the sky. The owl hoots, crickets chirp and bats fly by. This mysterious time between sunset and dawn. Makes one sleepy and I start to yawn. I see falling stars as I close my eyes. Occult feelings deepen the dark as it dyes. And with a brush like a thief in the dark. Paints it all black. Till the sun takes it back.
