Dusk Silky Lure

Written: November 02. 2025, for Line Gautier contest ************ She glided as dusk sprouted in a silky embrace, Behind her, she left a trail of intricate details. The room leaned into her breath, Each word was a lewd lure, a soft flame. We stood wrapped in the warmth of her light, By morning, we found ourselves giddy.

SP, I'm uncertain what you mean by "spiked." It could be dead, drugged, or intoxicated. While silky appears to refer to a spider...it doesn't have to. There's plenty to think about here and people should be very careful with their relationships for sure. Smiles!!

your poem had a beautiful flow to it. I especially liked 'the room leaned into her breath'--what an image. Best wishes with this contest entry, Texas hugs, Sara
