Dusk Contemplation The cool mist settles in as the sun gives a final farewell for the evening. Vibrant orange hues signal an end to the long day as the sky darkens. I stand alone on a hill watching the scene unfold as dusk deepens. My house beckons me and I will return there when the light has faded. For the moment I drink all of this in, refreshed and ready for rest.
