Dull Blue With Light Streaks of Gray

Depression is a dull blue with light streaks of gray.
It feels like sitting motionless for hours.
It sounds like the never-ending plunk of water falling from a spigot.
It tastes like stale bread with placid water.
It smells like dry colorless chalk.
It looks like a still pool under a gray sky.
It feels like standing still in a moving crowd.
It’s ice cold with nothing there to grab onto.
It flows like a storm cloud moving slowly in the wind.
Depression is a dull blue with streaks of gray.

Good poem hun, but don't be depressed. I don't want my best friend turning 'dull blue with streaks of gray'. I have a poem a lot like that but mine is happy. I might post it later for you to read. love you lots hunny! Al
