Duality
Sadness creeps in, but joy persists.
Tears may fall, yet smiles break through.
When darkness looms, I seek the light.
As sorrow weighs, I lift my spirits high.
Loneliness whispers, but friendship's echo is louder.
Doubt may cloud, yet hope clears the sky.
In moments of pain, I remember pleasure.
When stress tightens its grip, I loosen with laughter.
Anger might knock, but peace answers the door.
As fears try to trap me, courage sets me free.
The world seems gray, yet I paint it in colours.
My heart feels heavy, but I make it dance.
Negative thoughts swarm, yet positive ones bloom.
When I want to hide, I choose to shine instead.
Despair attempts to drown me, but happiness is my lifeline.
As gloom threatens to consume, I feed on gratitude.
I acknowledge the sadness, but I cultivate joy.
Embracing the rain, while creating my sunshine.
In the face of sorrow, I choose to stay happy.
Not denying the dark, but lighting a candle within.
