Drunk

This thing about drinking your problems away…it’s a myth 
I am still having the problem…my cheating mate, he’s still living here, after 3 bottles of rum  
 
The girl he cheated with, I think she has moved in my house... his mistress…yes and before the drink ,I had no idea who she was or what she looked like but now after a few drinks she sitting here next to me in 3D with full effects ...I had no idea what her name was but she has now introduced herself 

Does this bottle of rum comes with sound effects...she's telling me how good he was in bed , I don’t remember asking but I guess I did 

I now see why he cheated ...wow… from this position on the floor, she looks better than I do ...it's a myth drinking don’t take the problems away it just comes in full effects, colour and all… in 3D…I am drunk

Yet at the end of the poem, you are more understanding of the drunk, and you say "it's a myth drinking don’t take the problems away..." OR - did you mean, ""it's a myth, drinking don’t take the problems away..." It makes many problems worse, and makes problems of its own. I do think it can provide inspiration for writers, though - and I realize that many will disagree with me. I see it altering the mind a little, lowering inhibitions.
