Drugs of Love
Vulnerable
Lamb
In
need
of
a shepherd
Lost my head
Suppressing
pain
and only
transferring it
Silencing
my
Lioness
Heart
Blinded
by my self hatred.
I
need
not
your
attention
Using
your smiles
as
medication.
I
have
drugged
myself
into
submission
Living only
by
the help
of sorrows
blood transfusions
In
the marrow
its sunken in.
Sickly girl
looking thin
Strung
out
on
Love's
addictive
Lies
and
reaching for something
to
dull my
senses.
silence my
cries
masochistic
pleasure.
I've
quit
I'm done.
Hold me
back
from
my own
Dependence.
