Drug of Choice

.

Let me be your drug of choice,
Let me course through your veins,
Eliminating all your grief,
Your worries, fears, and pains.

Let me flood your memories,
I'll wash them all away,
For if I permeate your blood,
You will be mine today.

Allow me entrance to your heart,
To penetrate your soul,
You will find no other thrill,
Can make you feel so whole.

I'll lead you into ecstasy,
Like you have never known,
No drink or drug will ever do,
You will be mine, alone.

I'll take you to the highest heights,
I'll never let you down,
You'll be immersed in pleasure,
But, I will not let you drown.

Baptized in my adoration;
Bathed in my embrace,
You will be surprised to find,
That Heaven IS a place.

I'll caress you deep within,
And tantalize without,
You'll find no greater lover,
In this world, there is no doubt.

What you thought was paradise,
Before you tasted me,
Will fade away and melt into,
Complete obscurity.

I am the drug of choice for you,
On Earth you'll find no other~
You'd have to look above to Him,
For He's the greatest lover.

Let me be the world to you,
For you have become mine,
You'll never know a greater high,
Excepting the Divine.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
