Drowning In Darkness
Eyes, two dim beams drifting in the dark,
Broken gems, melancholy, the lonely monarch.
One who dreams of a love; a fairy tale
Though the stars shine, her face remains pale.
Until morning blooms tomorrow,
To hide, or take away, the sorrow,
To hopeless dreams she fades,
Crashing below the mountain cascades.
She lives to search, in the absence of light,
For his whisper; a kiss goodnight.
