Depression is…
Depression is drowning in an ocean of pain.
Everyone around you is fine,
Yet somehow,
Everyone around you is blind.
No one sees your tears,
Your razor wrists are hidden.
You try as hard as you can
To reach the top.
But you sink lower and lower.
You struggle for breath,
Unable to breathe.
You feel like no one understands.
You’re drowning.
