Drowning

Drowning

Her alluring eyes beckon me;
like a pool of cool water.
They draw me in relentlessly.

I have never felt such eyes,
Wading through my soul,
Playing, dancing, turning over my buried stones.

Yes, she knows, she hears,
She speaks to me
without a word.

I drown in her deep green eyes,
quickly and freely;

She has enveloped me.
