Drops of Rain
Drops of rain
are pearls on your skin
Like a warm shower,
They seem like a dream
Like a heavenly tune from the white conch
You are in my sitar
Shy as a drop of honey
Like the night-time cloud
Like the star in the sky
You stand so far away from me
I wonder why the waxing moon
doth wait for me.
Like the sunlight in the dew drop
In your eye is my kiss.
Like the fall of a feather
In the cool moon-light
