Notes About The Poem

I notice I start to feel guilty while writing about this subject. I don't think that is good, it makes me reluctant to post..... I shouldn't feel guilty. Just remember this: we all express deep feelings, in our own way. We all need to work though issues our own way. So please don't worry about me, I am fine, I love you all, my friends <3

Dropped Over the Edge

I am sorry
     that when the world stopped
     for just an instant
     I dropped over the edge 
Earth could not keep me
Seas didn't catch me
     to wash me ashore

Sit here
     with me
     be still
     ssshhhhhh
I move for you
     in shadows 
     if you look
     at walls
     gaps of doors
Here I once jumped
     thumps remembered
     faded through
     windows, opened

I once whispered
     smiles still linger
     in melodies
Songs, dances reverberate
     bounce
     against walls
     through doors

In every breath you take
     some love of me
     floats into you
     fills your lungs
You will smile
     love again

Deeply emotional feelings of memories so well written Darren !! You can feel it in the words, the way memories feel. Well done :) I really liked that last line-2 lines :)

This is such a creative and impressive poetic endeavor. Never apologize for what you write, whether it I what you are feeling or not. In some form or fashion our words will touch someone somewhere and if it is another who feels this way, maybe it will help to know they are not alone. Incredible my talented friend.
