Droplet

As heaven breaks, so rain pours down,
On hill and vale, on trees and town.
Cascading tears that wash wounds clean,
A shattered loss, it brings out green.

Sorrow flows deep as the oceans blue,
Never quite gone, but sadness new.
A bird in flight still has to land.
So gravity pulls us to His hand.

So healing brings with sorrowing,
The rains will come, and following
Sweet flowers of imagining
Darkness Fades Into Light.
