Drones
Those who have studied entomology
are aware of this one fact about the bee.
There is one type of male bee that is known.
It is commonly referred to as a “drone”.
They are non-workers lacking one thing.
None of them are able to sting.
Drones do not gather pollen to make honey.
Their job is to keep the queen bee company.
In the polyandrous hive, the drones are to copulate.
The queen bee must be happy with more than one mate.
