Drizzle

The city streets are
filled with taxis and wandering
      pedestrians
Lights glow in coffee shops and
bars
The night people are just starting
to venture out
The city is caressed by a
cool drizzle
   Millions of hearts are open
for business tonight
   Do you feel the
pulse of the metropolis in your
    bones?
  If you do
       then you are a welcome
addition to this urban
   scene
A few drops of rain
   won't shut down our city
Early spring but there is still
   a chill in the air
The cool drizzle starts and stops
   let the city lights pierce
          you
The night had a long time
   to unravel
  and create the urban mysteries
which we have come to love
