Drive You Not Away
Let not offense drive you away
The Bible said “offense will come”
What a wasted time
Wasted talent
Wasted memories
If we let things bother us
We will not be up to our full potentials
And explore things to the fullest
Somewhere, someone is going to make us mad
Upset, irritated, angry
Will we let our emotions govern
Or will we let forgiveness reign?
We can’t help feeling the ways we do
But we can help not letting them overtake us
To the path of destruction
