Drip By Drop
Lurking behind the veil deep
some secret unknown even to you
waits until it cannot be unseen
unexpectedly a new life emerges
erupting from snow's exotic grip
as you arrive like honey drip by drop
in a powerful surge of stem to leaf
into my life's fathomless stormy ocean
dissolving into being divinely
breathtaking as a waterfall
flowing backwards to the source
you leave me breathless as you
approach what cannot be touched
and embrace my heart with every step
that dares not speak your secret name
the name of love I've never known
