Hi, Richard, congrats on haiku win. I'm learning more about traditional haiku now and yours is a perfect example. I didn't know it had to be on nature only. I guess that's why my haiku flopped.

ahhh yes tongue in cheek like amy traditional haiku- maybe put the cut marker after line 2 [:, -- or even , are commonly used & do add the reader] YOU got it Richard if you didn't have to do 5/7/5 - which is not often done nowadays you could leave out enjoys [the only subjective word you used! - thought this is not as pretty an image as the ones above you it IS a haiku!!! GOOD one too! Light & Love

I reread my comment and want to add to it. It is not your responsibility as a reader to get the way I meant it but rather my responsibility to get my image across to you the reader.

Personally unless it is attached to a shoe I would say the answer is yes. Thanks for choosing it even though you didn't feel it the way I meant it.

Sorry to have caused you concern re questionku...it's fun to make up new forms, I believe my comment to Linda..which I have only made one was really more about her reading 30 or so of my attempts at haiku..'attempts' almost nothing I wrote before 2012 would I call a haiku..any no disrespect to you was intended...L & L
