Driftwood

Just lay there in the sun
The colors lovingly fade
From slate, to white to coal
Rest there, listen to the waves
You've worked so hard
And traveled such a long way from home

I love looking at driftwood. This really describes it perfectly.

Love this Jeremy! It's right up my alley...I collect and carve driftwood sometimes.
