Drifting Through the Night

the wind whispers in the trees an owl sings in the moonlight the stars twinkle in the dark sky moonlight streams down in streaks of light me drifting throught the night catching all of this thinking troubled thoughts about this life swearing at myself for every mistake during my existence trying hard not to beat myself down only it is difficult not to when you are me that is why i drift through the night thoughts jumbled and tangled around one another me drifting aimlessly around only to end up right back where i started troubled and drifting along
