Dreamy Apparition
After the screen is turned off
After the day has been put to rest
An apparition appears
She is cloaked
in black
Her eyes glow like cat eyes
in the dark
One can feel her
moving in what is known
as a dream
Silently she speaks volumes
No one know why
she has come
Yet we can learn from her
In the depths of night
Before we enter the realm
of Morpheus
She lets us know she is here
"It is not dying"
Rather it is submitting
to an inscrutable will
that guides us through
the shadows
leaving us breathless on a distant shore
