Dreamtime: Secret Garden

alone....

in a vast meadow,
silently counting ruby explosions
of
rare, lion's tooth orchids,
hidden
under tiny royal cloaks
of
elliptical emerald leaf canopies,
so
beautiful....

I'm
briefly
blinded

This is quite good-- evoking emotion efficiently like a true haiku.

Lovely - I recall the fields in British Columbia's Queen Charlotte Islands where the wild flowers grew in profusion..
