Dream-State

The dreams came with irregular beats
Causing her to toss and turn
 during the night
Invading all senses, bringing awareness
Of a distant time and place
Navigating this semi waking state
Bringing her to another time, another place
A new dimension where fragments of time
 encompasses all
There standing like so many times before
This man the same man who meets and greets her
An awareness of knowing yet not really knowing
 this particular presence
Upon waking she wonders if she had known him before.
