Dreamscape

What if we were in a dream
But not just one but in between
The many that we'll soon be in
And the other's that they seem to end...
So many levels so dam deep
We seem to revel in our sleep
Just to avoid the same cliche
That's just as fake as yesterday...
But every time we close one door
It seems to make a hundred more
Within the one remembered last
Beginning some you may have passed...
But if this hole we can't climb out
Permits my soul to pass in doubt
Then what my shadow casts is real
But what's behind it stays concealed...
As reality becomes a game
Of fallacy with none to blame
But each thought we can't escape
And every dream it confiscates...
