Dreams On Sale
Fuss and frills filled the air
thickening aroma of anticipation
Reams of rainbow shades strutted on silver spurs
merchandising motley of mosaic dreams
Packaged in blazing tones intensely tinged
Tied in ribbons of appealing allure
Dizzy delusions of passion on display,
faint odour of steaming streams of sweat
Bundles promising pinnacle of power
Blinking blinding blings flashed
as skyscraping figment of fantasies
Colored with grey conscience crusts
Serenading silently in soothing white
Pale plumes pitched against the razzmatazz
Serene strands woven in profound peace
With a halo of fulsome faith
Struck an instant chord within the chaotic seas of my soul
