Dreams of Fields Elysian

You could have stayed here
  and lived with the Diaspora's fear
that protecting Jews may prove an illusion
  You came to your own conclusion

To move to a land that Jews themselves defend
  Where not in vain is uttered, 'Never Again!'
We're so proud of you, son, and your decision
  To reach for dreams of Fields Elysian

I got to spend over a week doing the "bible" tour and I saw that famous place , I forget the name. Masada?? where so many Jews were killed by Romans. I will never forget the beautiful sunflower fields of early summer. Lovely tribute poem.
