Dreams Fade
Dreams Fade
Clouds hover
Raining tears of pain
that stand in the thunder...
Waves crash
Beach erodes
causing the rhythm and rhyme
to be off nodes....
Clouds twist into a spiral
causing havoc and destruction
beyond repair...
Such an awesome site that eyes just stare
at the glare of what was once there..
Who is this master of destruction that causes so much
disarray and confusion?
Look in the mirror, and discover its me!
Lost dreams
Quiet Streams
Sadness gleams
Arms unfold
Hang low to your side
As you look at your life
Which has passed you by
Tears cease
Soul is hollow
As you wailer around
In self pity
Dreaming of days
When you were once giddy
Pondering the person you were
And who you have become
Does this happen to everyone?
Why the metamorphosis?
So painfully bliss
As you look back at who you were and give yourself a kiss
Stand tall
Walk straight
Enter into your heavenly gate
Find your niche
Your calling
If you will
Make it purposeful
Go in for the kill
Time is an enemy
We cannot beat
Yet self pity is something
We can resist and defeat
Get up off your knees
For they are worn
Take your staff
Rise and conquer
Your dreams were once torn
Be proud
May your voice be loud
May you rise above the hovering clouds
This disastrous mess
Has become a wonderful life
Full of bliss and one not in such distress
Finally free from the pain and strife
of a life once where the past clung to the present and
the present to the past.
At last free, know your not last..............
