Dreams Change
All kids have dreams
but as time passes dreams change
so what’s the thing about dreams?
dreams can make a difference in your life
Or maybe not
Dreams do carry you
for a while
but then reality speaks
and the call is heard
Hey idiot!
This is your life and you’re in it
you make your dreams—how you may ask?
by working, working, working your dreams
procrastination stultifies dreams, and they wither
Don’t let them dissolve away
Dreams delayed make them lethargic
dreams don’t like waiting
waiting withers fertile, creative minds
and procrastination is no place for them to wallow
Delay creates an inactivity of meaningful dreams
Dreams that could have power
can work against themselves
dreams rot in inactive minds
dreams can be good guides but can also dissipate
Lying dormant in mental pots like prisons
Dreams at rest annoy needing action
dreams are best when they sweat with work
hard labor leads them to nirvana
dreams become real at that point
Attaining a status of strength
Obliterating laziness and indolence
lethargy and sloth
effort becomes reality
reality then becomes effort achieved
Action and success occupy your life
Your dreams mature to opportunities
and life lives in positive possibilities
which translates to dreams do come true
making dreams real
Dreams are there to enrich you when the task is done
Just recognize where the points of departure are
from fantasy to actuality
from fake to real
from empty imaginings during sleepless nights to accomplishment
And there is no reward better than satisfaction.
